Mr. Plante has over three decades of experience in key workforce leadership positions in transportation and service industries in both the public and private sectors. He brings to the client broad experience in the management of organizational review and improvement techniques, along with the development and application of Human Resource Policy and Administration solutions. His focus on enhancing the contributions of workforce management and organizational development techniques assists organizations to effectively achieve their goals.
For over a decade, he directed the human resources management functions at one of the nation’s largest urban mass transit organizations, with 10,000+ employees. His advocacy for organizational and human development practices as key engines of corporate success then led to the development of an effective, formal Organizational Development function. He introduced the organization’s first senior management succession program, and established the organization’s first internal analysis and development function to foster business process, employee, and structural effectiveness.
In prior positions, Mr. Plante directed human resources management policy for the nation’s largest public transit agency and, earlier, developed successful recruitment and retention practices for a major, 35,000-employee network broadcasting and entertainment enterprise in the private-sector. Additionally, he has consulted independently on workforce effectiveness issues with small and medium-size businesses in various service industries. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Communications.
